“ Stopped in for breakfast. First time having Callaloo ! Love it Happy to have vegan & vegetarian options nearby. ”
“ The small-sized plates were surprisingly generous, and the rice and cabbage were excellent. I appreciated the chopped jerk chicken, which made it effortless to savor every bite. The sauce was bursting with flavor, yet pleasantly mild in spice level. ”
“ Seriously LOVEEE this place and their food! I’ve had dishes from other Caribbean spots and they’re either over priced and not the best taste wise or their portions don’t match the price. Here , literally EVERYTHING is spot on! Oxtail platter with rice and beans and cabbage is my favorite along with fried plantains and a pineapple Jamaican soda! I tried the Curry goat with Mac and cheese as well and it was just as good! They’re the only Jamaican spot in Wilmington that’ll get my money. Keep up the great work and please try to add more options on Grubhub for platters , I normally order here for lunch and would love to try something new. ”
“ This is the best jerk chicken I've eaten in my life. Best red beans and rice as well... I'm sad I live so far away. Would give 20 stars! Good price for the amount of food. The owner/lady working the counter was super friendly. Very clean establishment... will definitely make a 2 hour trip to come back.... ”
“ New owners from the last time I went to this location for Jamican food. Modern renovations made to the restaurant. Great taste. Good seasoning and good amount of heat to the spicy jerk chicken. Good size portion. I would gladly go back as a repeat customer. 12 for large jerk chicken, rice & beans, and cabbage. 2.50 for authentic drink from Jamaica. Edit:been back three times now and it’s consistency of food is outstanding. I highly recommend the drinks, I enjoyed all of them. ”
“ Let me just say this!! I’ve eaten many places in states on the east coast that claim to be good at Authentic Jamaican Food then fail to have my toes tapping! The owners of Negril are very hard working, salt of the earth people that cook really good food. Respect Do!!! Stopped by late on a Friday just before closing and the food was fresh, seasoned with perfection and the jerk chicken was cooked perfectly. They used the correct wood for flavor. Top Tier and priority in Jamaican Jerk! Rice & Peas on point, cabbage supreme, mac n cheese banging, coco bread and chicken patties yum!! The price point is affordable and portions are outstanding! Breakfast’s on Saturdays so if ya want porridge they need more request and foot traffic. Do not be discouraged by the location it’s literally within walking distance from so called “safe” neighborhoods. I’ll be headed back to Negril soon to try the veggie patties and curry chicken. Thank you so much owners for touching my spirit and belly with your delicious food. ”
“ Ayyyy!! Simply delicious. I purchased a large Peppersteak with xtra gravy. I was loaded with meat, which was extremely tender. Rice and peas with cabbage. Perfect! ”
“ Negril Caribbean restaurant is and my personal opinion . It's the very best Jamaican restaurant in Delaware and probably in the entire and I dare say, the entire Tri-state area hands down. The food is all homemade from the peas and rice to the cabbage and bake mac n cheese is always on point. But their signature dish that keeps happy customers like me coming back is their jerkchicken sauce. That jerkchicken sauce won't just have you slap your mom, but your entire family tree.I put that on everything ya heard. I mosdefinitely recommend this spot. ”
